Reduce heating cost and improve storm protection
8mm (5/16") TwinWall channels trap air between two walls. For new construction, the TwinWall design provides an excellent value in price, insulation and durability, and is competitively priced. Tough but flexible polycarbonate has more strength to resist heavy weather. The diffused light is excellent for growing plants.
The flutes (channels) run the length of the panel. Install panel with flutes vertical. Panel ends should be capped or sealed with Vented Polycarbonate Tape that allows interior condensation to escape. Dimensions + or - 1/8".
Thickness = 8mm (approx. 5/16")
Light transmission = 81%.
R Value = 1.7

- premature yellowing
- a loss of more than 10% of the original light transmission
- breakage of the top layer caused by 1” hail.
