Crafted from UV-resistant polycarbonate, these caps are built to withstand the elements, keeping out dirt, insects, and moisture. Easily trimmed to fit with a hacksaw, this cap provides a snug, weatherproof connection for your greenhouse or outdoor project.

Installation Tips:

  • Cutting: Caps can be easily cut to length using a hacksaw.
  • Installation Direction: Always install caps with the wider side down for optimal support.
  • Ridge Thickness: The cap is intentionally thin at the top for flexibility. Be cautious during installation, as it may split.
  • Optional Tape Application: Apply aluminum or outdoor tape along the top after establishing the desired angle, or in sections if covering with metal flashing.
  • Fastening: Secure the Ridge Cap to the ridge beam using truss-head or decking screws.
  • Panel Insertion: Insert the polycarbonate into the Ridge Cap, leaving a gap of 1/16" to 1/8" at the top for ventilation and thermal expansion.
  • Optional Metal Flashing: Consider installing metal flashing over the Ridge Cap for added protection.
